let me see ur case pocket worn collection

Cate:

You can browse the Case catalog here:

They have a current run of knives in Petite Blue Lagoon bone. Not sure what the 'Petite' reference is unless it is the jigging pattern, but here they are. They are not part of the "pocket worn" family however.

I don't have any knife stores nearby with a huge selection either. The Internet has dramatically changed retail, especially for niche items like collectible pocket knives. Unless you live near one of the Case super-retailers, or are lucky enough to have a Case Platinum or Master dealer locally, you're kind of stuck buying over the Internet.

To stay on topic, here are some of my Case Pocket Worn knives

I have several others in PW Old Red Bone but no pics of them.

Thank you very much.

You have some very pretty knives too!

I looked at some of the CASE knives before Christmas online.

My husband and I looked all around here for specific ones and colors but we just do not have the selection in our small and large stores.

I spoke to someone in PA (CASE factory.) about a CASE knife and a man called me back and left me a message on my answering machine too.

I will continue to look online at their website and call some other places that some of you mention here.

Cate -

If you like it, I will send you the baby butterbean in the photo. You'll get to see the bone and quality. If you like the pattern, you can keep it. If not, gift it to someone else. PM me with your mailing address if you are interested.

JC57 - The "petite" refers to the pattern collection. In the catalog you'll see all the Petite Blue Lagoon are small pattern knives. I have the seen some larger patterns (i.e. trappers) in caribbean blue. But I don't know how it compares to blue lagoon.

Dear Rex,

THANK YOU very much for your kindness and generous offer. I will see about getting the CASE knife here on my own though. Again, I appreciate your kindness and offer.

My husband and I did see a PRETTY Case knife last Christmas that was kind of a sea mist green (I do not have my notes in front of me now with the EXACT color name though. Sorry.) and it was in a TEXAS toothpick style. I do not know a LOT about TT knives but it had a single blade which I was kind of looking for - a single blade for myself. It was in the Cabela's store that opened up here last year. It is an outpost store which is NOT a huge store like you see in some other states.

I like the Stockman style knives a too. My husband LOVES THAT STYLE and he has some that are large and small stockman knives (NOT Case but in some other brands.). He had previously lined up some of his knives in his gun room for me so I could understand the styles, brands and compare the sizes of these knives.

We gifted some knives to some friends in the past and recently. We donated some to a charity which helps house (Shelter.) and feed (Soup kitchen.) Veterans and other people here in town. They sell the nicer donated goods.

My favorite folding type of knife would have one blade though if push came to shove.

Of course, I still love and am leaning towards fixed blades knives the most.

For my 65th birthday, this summer, I will look for a special CASE knife and it does not have to be a heavy duty knife or a WORK HORSE used in the woods. It will be a knife that I can use but mainly it will be a special birthday gift for me from my husband. I will make the final decision on what I want. He told me that he will get me one or two knives or one really expensive one and not to worry about the price.

Anyway, thank YOU very much again.

Sincerely,

Cate
