Mr. Stroud is my favorite TV survival show host because he's down-to-earth and doesn't do goofy nonsense that could get a person hurt, just to try to shock people. He simply explores and teaches skills that are actually helpful and can not only save your bacon if you're lost, but help you enjoy the great outdoors when you're just out having fun. Dresnor clearly gets that. :thumbup:

They finally announced the winner of the Survivorman contest. I was not picked to be on the show. It is a bummer but in the grand scheme of things it is not a big deal.

I appreciate everyone supporting me by voting and sharing the link. It would have been an honor to represent this group on the show but it just wasn't meant to be.

I'm sorry you didn't "win", but it was a worthwhile goal and you conducted yourself with class! There's no shame or loss in that.
