This one belongs to my son. I don't know much about it. He doesn't either. He collects militaria, and thought it had that look and feel to it. All of the designs on the sheath and the stampings were don by the previous owner.
This one is mine. Belonged to a family member. I don't know much about it, either.
KA-BAR commando models from sometime in the 30s-60s I'm guessing. There were two variants which you see on eBay and forums; both variants are 6" long. One is like the traditional 7" model except chromed. The other is full-flat grind with a false swedge. I picked both up off eBay. There is more surface rust than appears in photos. The chromed one I plan on having professionally refurbished in the future, as the other one I am going to keep as is. I have a KA-BAR USN Mark I from the 40s I picked up off eBay, but in is en-route at the moment.
