Lets see some Hinderer action

Solid small Hinderer with very good bearing action and useful blade shape/thickness.
Just the flipper tap is a little too pointy for me. Anybody with similar feelings about this?
I'm thinking about rounding it up a little, but haven't decided yet...

Going to have to strongly disagree with you here. The flipper tab is perfect for gloved use, or when the hands are wet. I think a lot of companies make the flipper tab too rounded, for example, the 0562.

BTW, if you've been desperately looking for a Hinderer Fixed Blade Kydex sheath, do you know that the ranch gets them from our own @David Brown, and that you can order a sheath from him ? Superb quality, if I might add.

Cheers,

Roland.
Agree! I have a custom rig being made for my Fieldtac and LP-1. Should be done in the next week or 2. I’ll post pictures when it arrives.

This is the Buy Brown custom sheath that David made. Great work and great person to work with.

I typically prefer black and gray, but once I bought the Fieldtac 5.5 I embraced the orange!

Nice rig! David's work is great. Orange is cool

"Battle Black Firetac" has a nice ring to it

I have one of these on the way, Battle Black/Recurve. The Firetac is under represented. Outstanding blade

Hinderer'er's :)

Just looking for a quick confirm. Will all Tri Way washers work on the Firetac as well? I understand the work on all other models, just wanting to confirm same on Firetac.

Please and thank you

This non-flipper fullered spear 3.5 has become my favorite knife.... so smooth on bearings. I'm getting a custom ano'd scale and some bright hardware done, excited to play around with it.

Not sure about the washers, but XM bearings do not work in the Firetac.

Will probably most likely get a new job soon, so I've read the entire thread trying to find some inspiration for a gift for myself, only to see that both DLT and that Finnish site are all out of Hinderers. Did I miss something? Out of some models or variants, sure, but ALL of them?

Edit;
DLT has a few fixed blades and slippies, but not really looking for those.
