I haven't had any luck finding black hardware for my 18's.
The scale I'm having made for it will mirror the one on the Fatty 'Poon in layout/structure, but I'm doing Micarta on this one; Maroon Linen Micarta on the bolster and "Oreo" Burlap Micarta for the main handle with a black G10 backing and pinstripe divider.
I've been thinking of sending some (plain) hardware to Pop's Custom Clips to have them powder coated black; he does black powder coating of his custom clips and I'm certain he'd coat some hardware for a reasonable fee.

A baggy of homemade bronze hardware outta factory hardware...can't tell difference between them and the ti bronze....once my bronze crusader gets here they'll go on.

Those are stainless? Mind sharing your method?
Heat ano, if you have an electronic stove turn it on high, once hot set a few pieces on it...watch it closely and in a min or 2 they'll turn bronze... best way for an even finish....can also use a torch but can be less consistent...then once they reached the shade bronze i wanted i take em off and drop em in windex.Those are stainless? When i drop in the windex it turns a shade darker than When it came off the stove...mine has glass over it as well but gets insanely hot

Seen it on you tube so tried it.. i put it in a medicine cup...it also instantly cools itI'll have to try it.
