He ain't that old! (At least he wasn't 10 months ago...) This picture proves it:
As far as knives he has produced, I only have one. Don't think it has a name, but it is a good example of Jerry's skill and his ability to create wickedness in a small package.
I have never met Jerry personally, but I love his blades. Dramatic yet absolutely functional grinds, handles that your hand just melts into...the man is a master of the craft. Keep those pictures coming, guys.
What is that blue handle material? Awesome. Jerry is certainly one of the masters in the world of knife making.
And of course he is not taking orders, he never has wolf
17 1/4" Persian Fighter with a 12 1/4" CPM3V blade and maple burl handle. It's Jerry's (brilliant) realization of a sketch I sent him. The photo is also by Jerry:
The thing that amazed me, after handling ALL of Jerry's blades at the Blade Show, was how light and well balanced they all were! The bigest fighters, Bowies and hand-and-a-half swords all felt MUCH lighter than they looked like they should....
Thanks Russ, and everyone else. I'm glad you like your blades. This was a nice trip down memory lane with some very nice customers and friends. Thanks.
