after about a year...

and it's that time again!

A little vacation trip last week took us past a big knife store. I had hoped to have a couple of hours to look around, but traffic delays left me with only about 45 minutes. Fortunately I had done my homework and had my lists of "really want" and "maybe want, need to see" knives in hand. So, I headed straight to the Case counter and picked out a couple to take home with me; here is the first one -- from the new Barlow series with Rogers corn cob jigged blue bone and single spear blade:

I also checked out a Bermuda green Wharncliffe trapper, which I confirmed is just too large for my tastes, and also some of the tribal locks with bone covers. But, I had to admit that my yellow Delrin tribal lock is adequate for my needs and I just couldn't justify another one. However, I did pick up an open-top Case belt sheath, which fits my tribal lock perfectly.
