You can actually still send 21s in to have a replacement blade installed. Only S35 is available for the 21s at this point.
 
Can you still send a 21 in and get a Damascus blade for it? I’d love to do that. I’ve wanted a lefty pj Damascus for ages—they just never seem to turn up.
 
Use it! I doubt you’ll break a blade of you use it for its intended purpose. I use my large 21s and plan to until the day I die. I sold off all my folders and specifically only carry my large 21s now. They are the best.
