Limited Editions, who owns them?

I'm tempted to get the Boker GSG9 limited edition. Anyone think its not worth the money (i.e. It wont appreciate appreciably in twenty odd years when I give it to my boy)

I sometimes buy Limited Editions, not because they are limited but because they have something the regular series don't have. (for example different grind/steel/handles).

I've got a Flat Ground Sebenza. Only 130 made.

I also have a Gary Blanchard 'Screaming Eagle' Spyderco Pro-Grip arriving any day now. That's to complete the series of Spyderco Pro-Grip variants.

I once had a Master Series Buck 110 with BG-42 and Green Wood scales (without the medaillon and checkering), I think only 50 were made or so but I was so STUPID to sell it for a sh*tty automatic which I sold later. :grumpy:

I have a limited edition BM42ss-01 (clip). Only 50 made. I got in on the initial dealer purchase of these and paid 125 for it. The last 3 that sold on EBAY went for over 350
