Linen or Canvas?

I'm thinking black canvas. They have been soaked and scrubbed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If I was a betting man, which I'm not, my money is on canvas - All the linen I've seen is composed of very fine threading- that appears to be quite coarse eh?

Yes, I was thinking the structure looked quite coarse also.

Linen micarta was used at times in the past on Busse knives, especially green, some black, some tigerhide (not all, some of it was canvas), and a very limited brown/black; there might have been some other limited versions of linen micarta, but not that I remember.

I too wish Jerry would make linen micarta an option again; the colors seem so vivid.
