Recently bought myself a LM Wingman, been using it almost daily but seems the scissors pivot point is loose and the scissors are very dull. Any help with sharpening them would help, I'm wanting a sharpness that is able to cleanly cut small thread.

Nick, I have had some luck on my Micartas using a small diamond rod; I have seen a much improved cut but have never been able to recreate the original sharpness. Are you sure that the blades are dull? A loose piviot on scissors will really knock them out due to the way the blades have to stay in one plane moving "past" each other rather than cutting like a standard knife blade. Good luck with the sharpening and rember to only do one side!!

Darn!!!! Only one side??? i thought of them as passing blades so sharpened both ends....guess my youthful thinking got the better. GEERRRRR!!!
