Knife laws vary from state to state, but within a state, cities and counties may have their own laws. Sometimes these local laws are stricter than the state law, so it's good to know them. Here are some links to places where you can find local laws:

www.findlaw.com - A great site. Look under "US State Resources" here for municipal codes.
