Recommendation? Looking at the BK23BP

Anyone have any thoughts on the Becker BK23BP? I love the design of the blade and handle, and as some of you may have noted, I have a bit of a penchant for skeletonized handles that lend themselves to paracord wrapping

It seems most places are out of stock (perhaps they're discontinuing the item?) and outside of Amazon, the only two reviews I've seen did not speak favorably as to the blade or its sheath, ergo I come to the experts. Let me know whether or not I should waste my time, and $20

Some like it, some don't.

I found one more thread that balanced out to "don't."
Haven't tried one myself.

I would pass on the bk23. would recommend a bk13 or bk11 or bk14 over the 23.

I own a BK14 and absolutely love it

My draw to the BK23 is it's the closest knife I can find to a knife from an old video game I used to play (specifically, the CQC knife from Metal Gear Solid 3). Thanks for the heads up, though!

I wouldn't expect great performance of it but if you're looking for the novelty factor you'll probably be happy. Price point doesn't hurt either.

It's an actual usable blade unlike any replicas you'll find at any con's.
