So I guess I am the only one that finds these knives ugly...

I am sure they are great knives, but I find the Manix, Military, and AFCK to look similar, but much better.
I find them ugly, aesthetically as well. But functionally they look really nice. Just like the Spydercos.

The beauty is in holding and using them. I too thought they were ugly. My first Wegner design was the SPyderco version. I would never have bought one but a friend of mine, toptexknives, kepttelling me how awesome the knife felt. I finally gave in and bought one. He was right. It feels like it becomes a part of your hand. I really can't explain it. These knives need to be handled to be appreciated. A perfect example of function over form.

It's only money, you can't take it with you! (this small statement has helped me spend more money than I want to think about!)

My wife always reminds me that I can leave it for her :D

Sorry, I should have been specific. I meant the Ganyana.

Spyderco doesn't have a Ganyana. They did make two versions of the Pro-Hunter, a full size and smaller one. They have been discontinued for a while though. They were the C48 and C49. Spyderco just released a Wegner design called the "Ocelot"
