About 2 weeks ago, I went out to eat at a local chinese restaurant. Upon arriving home, I noticed that my Spyderco Matriarch was no longer in it's usual resting place; my rear right pocket. I searched the house several times, vechiles, etc with no luck. I had pretty much give up hope of ever seeing it again.
I happened to stop by the same restaurant for lunch today and figured I would just ask to see if anyone had found a knife. As I walked up to the counter to ask the manager, I spied my SE Matriarch sitting right beside the register! (It looked very out of place.) I was so releived!
It is nice to know that someone was honest enough to turn it in. I guess there are still some good people left. Many people would simply keep it, especially a "unique" design like the Matriarch.
I can only imagine the reaction of the person who found the knife...they were probably speechless when they opened it!
