Love of small blades

I couldn't fit my GEC 18 or 25 on my tiny hand. I'm a fan on the small pocket knife. I rarely carry anything over 3.5" closed length, and typically it's 3" or less.

The Case Peanut is one of my favorite knives. I love how capable it is both despite and because of its size, and I'm always surprised by how many day-to-day cutting chores it handles with aplomb.

I don't generally like super tiny knives, but here are three smallish ones that are joys to use:

I just made this out of a piece of an old file I found in my yard ( other half made a kiridashi for my toolbox ) it's a little rough as I don't have a any sandpaper left to polish up the blade, but I think it turned out OK. It's 2-3/4 oal with a 1" blade.

The strict enforcement of the 2.5" limit as work has forced me to expand (shrink) my horizons for knives. The Heat is a recent addition, while the Peanut is a classic.

Looks good to me!

My favorite 'small' knife is my Victorinox Executive SAK. No matter what else I may be carrying, it's always there. Been carrying/using it since 1998 or '99. And I've used every feature on it except the keyring. I use the smaller pen blade more than the comparatively larger spear point blade. Its small pen blade is smaller than the one on the Classic. It's amazing how useful that tiny blade is.

Here's a few folders

That green auto really surprised me for 3$, it's pretty sharp , has lots of snap , and has zero blade play . One of the cool things is how solid the pocket clip is as its what actually encloses the back of the mechanism

It's just a cheap little flea market auto, but is a little to interesting not to show in some detail.

Could you give me some details on the knife at the very bottom?
Thanks

Probably everything I carry now would be considered "small" by most knife people. I have a Dozier or Bradford FB on me every day, either a Personal Utility or an Arkansas Traveler or a Guardian 3. In pocket, the biggest thing I carry is either my Protech SWAT auto, a TR3 Integrity, my Emerson mini-15 or my Horseman (Thanks, SALTY). It goes down from there to a micro-Commander or a BM 765 (Thank you USA Made Blade). Don't have pix available but none of those has more than a 3.5" blade.

Case 62132 SS
IVY SMOOTH BERMUDA GREEN BONE BABY BUTTERBEAN
Blades: SPEAR AND PEN
Length Closed: 2 3/4"

I actually won this knife recently in a GAW (Thanks, Crazy Canuck!), and it is just a peach. Absolutely beautiful work on the scales and bolsters. It's small in length, but the spear is wide, which provides a sense that it is bigger than it actually happens to be.

I always carry multiple knives. One "main" blade and something small to go with it. You don't always need a big blade and a tiny knife doesn't offend or scare anyone so it's often more sheeple friendly! :-)

A few small ones...
