Luminox Navy Seal, any good?

I've had mine for about 5 years and have definately put it through it's paces. I am kind of like you in that I"m not 100% happy with a plastic case but since it's an under 200 dollar watch, I'm not too worried bout it. Mine has seen alot of swimming, hiking, lifting, biking, and use as a dive ring without any problems.
