As a knife dealer we get a lot of our business and interest in our company through social media. One thing that has taken off for us is knife comparison pics. Not many people have access to knife stores that carry custom and higher end production knives so they ask us for comparison shots of one knife to one they either own or are familiar with. Most of these request are very simple, like a ZT350 compared to a Benchmade Griptillian or a Para Military II compared to a Hinderer XM-18.

Tonight though I went back and forth with a guy who was looking for a comparison pic of something with the M18. He asked for it compared to some machetes we did not have instock and a few other knives we do not sell at all. We then started thinking out of the box. We went through every normal everyday item I have in the shop. Some of the suggestions were a microwave, a computer monitor of a certain size, a dartboard, a standard copy of blade magazine and a bunch of rolls of toilet paper lined up.

Here is what we finally found in common and agreed on!

It was either this or the toilet paper lined up!

I merged your threads Whitty. I'll order a sticker for the guy today. The bottle of wine comparison is awesome.

Good job thinking outside of the box, Whitty. Also, I'm used to seeing TM Hunt Knives posed next to cans of Rhinelander Original. I'm proud of you for classing it up a bit.

did you think to point out that the sharp point on that little tit right in front of the sharpening choil works great as a foil cutter so he can get to the cork easier?

Versatility is the name of the game for the M-18.
