dang I've never seen green mammoth tooth scales before. Were they dyed or naturally that color?

rtoo, As far as I know that's the color that they were
after they were dug up and cut.
Mammoth ivory gets it's color
from the minerals in the soil in which it is buried so I'm guessing
that it's the same case with the teeth.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
