what's up everybody. i just ordered my first spyderco.. the blacked out manix 2 from bladehq while they had them in stock. tracking says it should be here tuesday.

I used to have a black BD1 lightweight, but sold it when I bought the CruWear sprint run because I didn't think the BD1 would be carried again. I suspect I was right...really liking CruWear, as well as grey G10. No more recent pictures, but my blue jeans and hands are inducing a really cool "Handle Patina" on it...I could clean it with a Magic Eraser, but I'll let in continue to develop a natural hue from use.

Looks like one made by Theoriginalspaceman her on the forums. He does an excellent job and they are around $20, which is a steal if you ask me.

That's an STR deep carry clip. I picked it up around here somewhere and can't remember what I paid.

Pretty sure this qualifies as an "old" Manix 2, it's one of the pilot run with a FFG 154CM blade.
