Im not sure if anyone here has seen them? But marbles did a special run for blueridge of the Ideal, Woodcraft and Plainsman in pakkawood (black and rosewood colored) with a stag pommel.

I ordered the woodcraft from smoky and I was very impressed with it! It was the same high quality as my ideal in leather, and my plainsman in stag (and stag pommel). The fit and finish was really good. For the money ($69.99) it cannot be beat! To have a quality fixed blade with a convex edge in 0170-6 (high carbon) for that kind of money is very rare!! :D

Here are some pics of the Ideal, Woodcraft and Plainsman:

Woodcraft: http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/e...&list=50&range=1&order=PriceDesc&SKU=MA80200B

Plainsman: http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/e...&list=50&range=1&order=PriceDesc&SKU=MA80500B

P.S. And in case anyone is not familar with pakkawood it is made of wood veneers laminated with epoxy resin under extreme pressure. The veneers are often dyed and can be colored to resemble most any wood. And are very durable and imprevious to warping, splitting, etc.

I was just looking at some of these posted on eBay...they looked NICE...at first glance I though they may have been SFO's from Northwoods under the MSA label for Dave Shirley ( and that's a complement )...but I note that they are Marble Outdoors. The specs on the knives I saw said D2 for the blade. I think the seller may have been mistaken. We all would love to see a photo of your new Woodcraft. The Woodcrft/Fieldcraft pattern is such a true classic.....it fits in so well with any traditional pocket folder.

-My best regards !

I saw the same ad on ebay! No, they are 0170-6 carbon, not D2.

They are actually really nice knives. The fit and finish on them is excellant. Not like the marbles outdoors from a few years back.
