I took apart my CQC6 a couple of days ago. There is a "7" marked/stamped on almost every part of the knife; the inside of the bolster, liners. There is even a "7" marked with some type of crayon on the spacer on the rear. Does anyone know what the 7 is for?
Thanks
David

Mine has the number 12 on it. They are a way of keeping track of which parts belong to which knife during manufacture.

My CQC6 has AA on things line the liner, bolster and my CQC8 has W. If you ever see a shop photo and see a sheet of liners and linerlocks which are cut from one piece of titanium there will be stamps to keep track of all of the parts for final construction.
