Massachusetts Knife Shipping Laws

I was trying to buy a cheap knife for a younger family member who just turned 15 off of Amazon. I didn't notice until I was trying to fill in my information that it said that it couldn't be shipped to my location. Does anyone know the specific laws on shipping knives to and from Massachusetts?

Amazon policy is not necessarily an accurate reflection of a State's law.
I'll guess that the knife in question has assisted opening. I had the same issue with Amazon about 10 yrs ago, trying to purchase a Kershaw. I knew the knife was legal; so I just bought it elsewhere.

People seem to have had trouble having assisted openers shipped to Massachusetts from Amazon. New York has the same problem.

Im from Massachusetts, and cannot get flipper knives shipped to MA from Amazon.

Every zero tolerance I click on: cannot be shipped.

Most benchmades too. Mainly the axis lock ones. Anthem...crooked river....

Very odd. Can go buy flippers and assisted opening knives anywhere in stores
