i made the blade from steel
the sheath is inside wood and the handle is also made from me as a wood sample. this woodsample was than cast in silver. ( i wish i can better english)... hope you understand that.
the goldsmith made silversheets over the wood of the sheath and made the saphire fittings. also he made the finish of the silver.

OOOOO - material costs at that piece is about 19000euro.
