Tom's small generally has a blade of 2.75 inches, while his medium is usually 3.25 inches. Since the blades are ground by hand, these sizes are approxiamate. The only constant is the thickness. He uses graduating thicknesses of material for each size.
I once had a medium with a 3.5 inch blade, no extra charge . It was just an "oversize" medium . The 2 smalls I own were made with slightly shorter blades, at my request, but I'll email you a pic.
