I was hoping some BF members might be able to offer hands-on insight re: the Medford Tomahawk Axe. Beyond finding it is in the same price range as most RMJ offerings, I cannot locate any online reviews or videos. My interest for such a hawk would be CQC training and basic field/woods usage. Is it "worth" the $425? Is quality on par with RMJ, Winkler, etc.? Any other information/opinions/etc. will be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.

If you want to spent that kind of money my first choice would be Winkler then RMJ

I cut down two dead cherry trees that in the backyard of a house I was renting a while back. After I cut down the first one (8”-10” in diameter) with an RMJ Shrike, I picked up my first chainsaw to cut the second one. They are probably pretty decent for breaching but don’t chop very well.
