Can I carry my Makora knife in my gun case with my gun when transporting it? I do have a CCW license for my gun. Not sure if you need one for a knife or not. But I wanted to carry it with my gun in the case, and also when I decide to travel to another state through the airport (declaring of course through TSA) to states like Dallas, TX from North Carolina.

Here is my knife.

Thank you.

Automatic knives are regulated by the individual states when it comes to carry on the person or mere possession. Federal law merely regulates sale over state lines. There is no law prohibiting transporting of a switchblade over state lines by it's owner if there is no intent to sell or barter it.

I maintain this web page which contains info on switchblades for all states: http://weaponlaws.wikidot.com/us-switchblade-laws
Ownership of switchblades is legal in both North Carolina and Texas.
