Mike Henry Tarzan's Knife

I have loved Tarzan since childhood. The first movie i remember seeing in a theater was "Tarzan's Greatest Adventure", starring Gordon Scott as Tarzan and Sean Connery as one of the bad guys. I also watched the Weissmuller movies on Saturday afternoons in the mid-1960s. The idea of living simply and just having adventures with only a loincloth and a big knife really appealed to me as a child and to some extent even today. I regret to write here that Mike Henry died a few weeks ago at age 84. My wife knew him as he was a regular at a family pizza joint in North Hollywood where she was his favorite waitress. He came in weekly at least with his wife and kid, all of them friendly, polite, and good tippers. He died of Parkinson's and a battered brain from years of playing in the NFL prior to his acting career. His wife was quoted in the Variety obituary, "You could not find anyone who ever spoke ill of Mike. He was one of the loveliest men to ever grace this Earth." My wife concurred. https://variety.com/2021/film/news/mike-henry-tarzan-actor-dies-1234900132/

Since the other Tarzan knife thread was resurrected from the dead, I had to post it here too, Neal Adam's cover art and probably my favorite book cover of his knife. Like the other covers he did and those of Boris Vallejo. MIke's knife looked like a converted bayonet prop.
