Military and fobs?

With the military being tip down, does anyone attach a fob and or lanyard?

I dont see the need for it either way. The knife is large enough for me where I dont get any extar benifits from a fob or lanyard

When I bought this it came with a fob and bead. I didn't like the idea of the Damascus bead scratching against the scales down in my pocket. So I removed the bead and tied a diamond knot in its place.
I have utilized the fob. I've chopped at black berry vines, more than once, held by two fingers and the fob. Worked well.
