"Kind of heavy" pretty well covers it. Mine are from their early days when they used 5/16" 5160, exclusively. They've moved on to newer steels; but, the last time I looked, their stuff was still all at least ¼" thick.

My M-8 Compact weighs 510g with 8.8 mm blade thickness.
It's an absolute beast.

I never weighed (or used) my full size M-8. It's too big for me.

They both are in .32 thickness Z-wear and I agree it would be fun to see JoeX trying to break them

Impressive, but a challenge to pack. I'd keep one in the SUV though.
