Ha! I was thinking about this one yesterday! I would have loved to have seen this knife produced. :)

:D Wrong Spec Ops. The product in question is a Swamp Rat knife that never came to light.

But, most of the sheaths I've owned by them have a screw at the bottom that is secured with a thread sealer that has to be heated to make it release. Most use either a soldering iron or wood burner (basically the same thing) to soften the sealant then quickly use a screwdriver.
 
:) ha sorry for the confusion. this new mini has no screw makes me wonder if its glued...
 
No screw! Thats a first for them, and I guess they would have glued it in if it wont let go.
