Most Expensive Knife... That you actually use?

This is just a curiosity of mine. I see people posting pictures of gorgeous knives that cost more than my mortgage, sometimes double it or more lol. I am just wondering where people draw the line on what they actually use. What is the most expensive knife you own that you actually put to use regularly and don't just own as collector item, mantle piece, :kiwi-fruit: "my precious" that you hold tight, etc...

Pictures of your expensive knives with wear on them as proof would also be entertaining ;)

Of all the ones I carry on a regular basis, I suppose this one would be the most valuable:

Hi oic0 -

Good topic - this one comes up quite a bit - I especially like when people post pictures, since many of the very expensive knives are ones that I will not have seen -

I suppose right now it is my small sebenza with bloodwood - I use it occasionally, and use is only for easy cutting tasks (apples, cheese etc.)

I really need to stop only going on bladeforums on my phone so I can post pictures haha

The most expensive knife I own is a tie with my 2 benchmade 806bk-1101's and my benchmade 730-1202.

I have started using them more and more but the most expensive I really use a lot is a spyderco sage 2 or benchmade 913d2 changed to manual opening.

John Lloyd jack has been in my pocket and used for whatever came up ever since I received it. (About 2 weeks)

My most used & most expensive knives are my hand-forged kitchen knives. If you like knives, why use junk?

My most expensive user right now is a fixed blade; a Busse NMFBM which was a grail of mine prior to acquiring it. :o

Still looks pretty fresh even after a fair bit of use. Last chores it tackled include chopping some firewood and tearing up an old toboggan! (eighth inch aluminum)

I use all my knives, but my most expensive is a custom cqc10. I don't see the point of owning a knife if you don't use it!
