Here is the one that I was trying to get finished before the symposium,Which I did.Now for the spec's:nickel silver hardware,Ebony handle, The woodgrain Damascus that I used for this piece was created from everything including the kitchen sink, lets see now,I put in some car spring, cable, plow point, horse shoe, nuts, bolts, screws, nails, drill bits, wrench's,sockets,a tap, ball bearings,a ballpeen hammer head, socket extension, rail road spike, saw blade,a piece of a old kitchen sink, and a carbide cutter bit from the dremal tool (I won't do this in a mix again as it just brocke up in the mix instead of stretching, and then just kept popping up in the finished knife like a old tire coming out of the ground, and it doesnt grind so the last piece in the blade was where I couldn't get it out and had to leave it like a little spot and it is a small bump in the flat,I tested it and the piece is not going to make the blade weak and wont come out of the blade so it is not a bad spot in the blade really. It could be thought of that way but I figure that I put it in the mix and it stayed so it can't be a bad spot.)There may be some other things in the mix but I cannot remember everything.
The sheath is made out of the same billet of Damascus and then has a nickel silver throat and tip added to it.This was my first attempt at the Damascus body but not my last. This Bowie is for sale at $1200.00...
Please take a look and let me know what you think of this Knife,Thanks
Bruce

Bruce, only you could get away with the kitchen sink part. It all looks great! So how did all the parts get into a billet? Just can't figure only that one little inclusion for all those different parts. What are the demensions? Again, just fantastic. Made one just like it last night in my dreams.

Hey Bruce, Great looking knife

. I think your price is very reasonable for the amount of work you have put in it. If I had $1200. to spare, it would be yours. Keep up the good work. Mark Hazen

Thanks,All the pieces were put into the billet one piece at a time, and it was a big billet when I was ready to fold it.The carbide piece isn't a inclusion but rather a solid piece that feels like a little pimple on the blade,You can see it in the close up picture.
I'm sorry that I forgot the dimensions,The blade is 10 inch's long by 1 1/2 inch's wide and a little over 3/16 inch thick and the handle is 5 inch's long the guard is 3 1/4 inch's from tip of one ball to the tip of the other.

I just remembered that I also added a small piece of Harley Davidson chain and a little piece of the kick stand also,I will try to make a list of everything that is in the billet so if someone decides that they want it I can give them the list to go with the knife.

Bruce, I can't believe I even said the inclusion word. Really poor choice of wordage. thanks for the follow-up and great photos. I always look forward to seeing your latest. Terry

Another beauty!
The woodgrain damascus is soo cool. It isn't so busy that your eye gets 'stuck' on the blade. (poor sentence ex. 1)
How 'bout this... It's fancy but not overpowering...
I'm wondering if your buddies are going to start hiding their toolboxes on ya!

Didja really put a piece of sink in it?!!!
I remain, Ebbtide (satisfied Evans customer

Bruce, Very nice knife! I like the sheath as usual. Once I tried an all harley parts knife. A friend has a bike shop and gave me a whole box of harley engine parts. They welded together but the resulting damascus didnt look very defined.I couldnt see the different materials so I never made the blade. Your knife is great! Bruce B

And I'm having trouble welding up cable???

I can't hardly believe that a guy can weld up so much stuff in one piece...I am in awe.

That is a beautiful knife. It makes me wish the buyer could TRY to weld up some damascus...to truly appreciate what they're getting beyond your artistic impression...the work included.

That is one fantastic knife Bruce

I applaud you.

Bruce, I can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said better, so I'll just add my own "WOW!" That's incredible.

That damascus sheath is a cool idea... Hope you're planning a tutorial on your silver tip process soon!

Dave

Yes Ebbtide I really did put a piece of the kitchen sink in the billet (Cool Huh)
If you re going to try a metal sheath make sure you have the metal dead soft before you start.I will get a Tutorial on the sheaths soon.

Hey,everything he said about this knife is true, I saw it in person, I also saw the Junk pile that Bruce can go into and come out with a work of art.I was lucky and had the honor of having Bruce teach me how to makes his damascus knives, and I have one

Tim came down to the shop the other day and I showed him how I make the woodgrain Damascus,He left the shop with a nice little billet to make a knife from and I can't wait to see how it turns out.
