Hello everyone, I just wrapped up my review of the Medium Chopper Prototype I got to spend a few weeks with. It was certainly fun to test it out. You can find the review here:

I tried some new things this time, I included some videos (which left me feeling very self-conscious).

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the review. It was nice to finish a piece of writing again. Trying to be better about it.

Is that a huge chip or dent in the blade?

Ok, I can see it now, it looks like a wood chip covering a small portion of the edge.

Thank you for your comprehensive review of the MC. As usual, very detailed and comprehensive. I had one comment about the accuracy of the info provided, but I felt that it was better to bring that correction to your attention in here as opposed to on the subforum where it was actually posted. There has been no production MCs as all have been actually prototype MCs:

I have no idea as to how many actually exist in the wild but even with those 7 surplus (and hence modified) units which Nathan sold in his "fun Friday sale" a few weeks ago, I would guess probably less than 50 if you account for all the regular MCs ever sold on the Forums in here plus a dozen or so that were taken to Blade 2018. I do not know for certain as to whether the actual production run will be any different, but having gotten to know Nathan's penchant for CQI as he goes from prototype to production, I think that there will be some subtle changes.

This post may come across as nitpicking somewhat but I think it is important that people-not-in-the-know with regards to CPK realize that Nathan has not officially announced any production MCs, at least none that I know of :)

Thanks for that heads up Casinostocks. I actually hadn't realized that there were no official production MC's in the wild. I had assumed that since Nathan had made references to not having sheaths for the recent prototypes that the MCs that had been released with sheaths were the final configuration. I will edit my review. Thank you.

The 25 or so MCs which were sold on the Forum before Blade 2018 had no sheath option but CPK ordered some kydex sheaths from Mashedcat for their MCs at Blade plus their subsequent sales on here after Blade 2019.
