Am I the only person here who is made particularly uneasy by seeing an implement of this kind in what appears to be a dentists office?

I mean, the blade is gorgeous and all, but I'm phobic enough as it is without a vision of this blade and the phrase "Open wide now!"
in my head. Yeesh!

I am sorry to provok such a bad feeling. I just didn't realise that when taking the photo.

I keep my blades in my office adjacent to the surgery to facilitate maintainence. Japanese swords needs attention. My surgery is brighter.....

I'll try to avoid the sight of my instruments when taking other pictures

Thanks for sharing that Joe. Awesome looking piece. I can conjure up all sorts of fantasies looking at it, none of them remotely related to the other tools shown.
