Angus Trim MS-1503 arrived today. It's my first sword, so I wasn't sure what to expect, I've seen the wallhangers and fantacy swords poplular now, but this is a "real sword". My first impression was how delicate it looked. Super thin and springy, shaking the hilt reminded me of shaking a carbon fiber fishing rod. It's about half the weight of my wasters, and felt almost like weilding a yardstick. It's not flimsy though, a light thrust and the point penetrated the full thickness of watermellon. It quite neatly spit the same 15lb watermellon end to end with a single slice. Tenative single hand blows easily split clean diagnal slices through the diameter of three liter pop bottles half filled with water, and a 1/2 inch mequite branch seemed to offer no resistance at all. I need to find somthing a bit more challenging to cut with it. This is going to be fun!
