Merry Christmas folks! i posted this in shop talk, but i think it should of been posted here,sorry
:( here is a pic of my 1st damascus blade...differential heattreat,ended up using cocobolo for scales and went with carbon steel bolsters(i plan on blueing them to compliment the damascus) just a little more touch up sanding,and edge the knife and she's ready for a sheath

Very nice! Get a better picture of the knife when it is finished (sheath too) so that we cn see what the final product looks like.
 
That looks like a SOLID knife!! I love the grind also. I'm also looking forward to a Final pic.

im really happy with the way this one came out, making damascus is so much fun! its very addicting, hopefully the next will be as nice:)
Bob: yes this was made from the billet i showed you... i had to get up the courage to grind it:eek: ;)
