In all honesty I was pretty excited about the Echelon, however the ergos disappointed me a little. Knife opening is not very comfortable, it got a lot better when I de-assisted it. Very similar to the Spyderco Sage series, and Strider SJ75
 
Since I just bought my first "real" knife, and just started collecting I have just an OD-2. My next purchases are going to be the Cryo, Skyline, and the OD-1.
