I am looking for a quality reproduction of this weapon. Like the one used in the Last of the Mohicans. Where can I get one?

Regards,

Manoucher

Manoucher,

I hoped to send you an email, but am not sure how effective my attempt was. The props from the movie are being sold. Sale date seems
to be June 22, 2002. Blind auction format.
I tried to copy and paste the web information for you.
I am not sure how successful I was. Good hunting.

Atlanta Cutlery (www.atlantacutlery.com) is making "Native American War Clubs" and "Native American Tomahawks", but nothing could be as cool as the one carried and used so effectively as the one carried by Russel Means in that great flick "Last of the Mohicans".

Try to get Chingachgook's piece from the auction listed above.

Kis, how does one go about getting pictures of all the items you listed?

I just "dumb-lucked" it into finding the web site after reading
the search post, and thought it was serendipitous. (I'm NEVER that
lucky.)

I'd imagine the site has an email address for contact. I have had
no discourse with them. I was just trying to help.

I found the site under: "Mohican War Club" on a "google" search engine
search.

Nice to see your name. You are a man greatly admired.

Do well.

Way cool... Daniel Winkler "Magua" Tomahawk!!!

Last of the Mohicans is one of my alltime favourite movies (even if they bent the original story a little). If I had any chance of talking a tomahawk past the Customs officials I'd jump on those pieces.

Now that's something you only see in the Cantina - Manoucher asks where to find a War Club like in the Last of the Mohicans, and he gets told where to bid on the actual club they used in the movie.

Only on the HI forum do you get the whole gang turning out and helping ( and maybe trying to grab it from you ). ;)

...except that we're all too poor from buying khukuries.

I can just see myself now showing up at Rendezvous with some of those goodies. I'd have to keep the price tags attached or none of those guys would believe me!!! "Oh sure raghorn, Daniel Day Lewis REALLY shot that rifle. No more whiskey for you, now go fetch some firewood or something!"

Kismet, that mega reply of yours has gotta be the assist of the year :D

Correction: re-reading the fine print these are not the items used in the movie but REPLICAS made by the folks that made the originals.

Would I be safe in assuming that these were made as back-up items kept on hand to be used in the event of inadvertent or accidental damage to the originals during shooting of the movie?

you are quite welcome. I think that helping one another is what the
HI forum is all about. I (We) just got real lucky this time.

Let us know what you get, if you get something, OK? Fair repayment
for those of us living vicariously.

We're all in this together

We're all in this together, somehow.

You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
No no, you can't always get what you want
Oh, you can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes
You just might find
You'll get what you need
