What a great weekend! I can't even explain how good it feels to get away and hang out with friends around the campfire. This was a much needed getaway for Amanda and I.
I didn't take a lot of pictures. Looking back there are some things I wish I took pictures of. Some of Granite's folders were awesome. His Bark River Bravo 1 is a knife I didn't even know I had to have. His modded BK-11 with those awesome Zebrawood scales was really well done and performed well.
The food, even though we didn't go overboard still tasted great. I think mostly because it was cooked outside.
Watching a Brand new Brute and Patrol Machete get broken in was fun. Glad to see them get some use.
Finding out that trailbum likes girl coffee and why Granite likes his NF cat's meow sleeping bag was interesting.
Anyways, on to the pictures.
The cabin
The living area.
While preparing supper Mike Brutalized an onion.
Finer work with a BK-15.
Bacon!
Burgers!
Bsing around the fire after supper.
Breaking in the Brute!
The next morning we tested out some choppers. The Baryonyx Machete and a Patrol Machete.

Mike having his turn.
Here is a video of Mike chopping and comparing the machete to a metal beaver.

Then on to the Becker Patrol Machete. Mike did the honors breaking in Jason's newest Becker.

A cool picture of the fire and some Brute action in the background.
Becker laying in the sun.
After all that chopping we worked up an appetite.
After breakfast we decided to work off some calories and walk down the trail behind the cabin to the river.
Becker jumping in.
After we got back trailbum tested out his new saw. I think he approves.
Sorry I didn't take a lot of pictures. I was too busy having fun!
Thanks for viewing!
