New AK 47 Handle question

Hi,

Does anybody know if they change the AK 47s Handle to a thinner one like they did with the lawman?
I think I read it somewhere on the forum but in the new catalogue the handle seems to be the same thicker and aggressive textured one like on the AUS8 model.

I'm asking because some people are already complaining about the new handles being flimsy. I know you shouldn't put too much lateral stress on a folder but with the old thicker handles I was never afraid of breaking the knife

My understanding from forum posts by Cold Steel is that they are receiving the new textured G10. I've yet to see any pictures that reflect this though.

Yes, the AK-47 is thinner, lighter and less aggressively textured

Any chance you could post/link a pic of two? I haven't been able to find any that show the new G10 and I'm really curious to see what it looks like (both design-wise and thickness difference from the original). Because the new catalogue shows the AK's with the old rough texturing.
