I also bought a BK-2 and I think it's the perfect survival knife.
I was hesitating between a BK-2 and Bk-10 but I prefer the thicker blade of the BK-2.

Let me jump in here as well. I got a new BK-2 last week too, and I love it. I think it will be perfect for most of the things I want to do, although it's a little large for some things. For those other smaller tasks, I want to get a BK-11 just as soon as the new handles come out. I'm starting to save my pennies now (I'm on a fixed income, so I have to start saving ahead of time).

i think i have a new contract coming up... if so, i'll be buying a brand new tactul and campanion of KaBar descent for the car.

the campanion will have horrible things done to it :> maybe with pictures.
