NEW... Buck Knives Camp Kit

.
Just the three in the Compadre kit, no folder.
There was a different China combo kit a long time ago that had the #757 axe, #720 pruning shears, and #755 (or #821) folding saw.
It is a rare kit and can't find info on it but I know I saw a picture or something. Early 2000's

addendum... I've searched hi and lo, has anyone else ever seen such a kit?

Wow, it went right over my head until now, the kit show by J Jeff of the North in #9 for Canadian Tire has a Machete instead of the Folding saw. I found it listed on the CT website for $169.99 Can. I don't know the exchange rate but strikes me as pretty high for what it is. CMBO4CT-C

$121.86 USD, as of this moment.

Yes, that is overpriced. When I first posted those pics it was listed for $99.99 CAD ($71.68 USD)

I DO remember (I think) one of the kits had like a 279 folder in a shieth that had Velcro to sick in/on the bag. I know it ad a hatchet too.

I hate to see American companies use their name on Chinese products. It cheapens the entire line. I know it’s nothing new, but Buck should know better.
Agreed.
How many people buy those products then are unhappy with the quality and assume it's all inferior?

Your most valuable asset is your reputation.
When you put your name on inferior products it makes one wonder what you really value.

I finally found an image of the Camp Kit I was thinking of. Posted by oregon oregon on Jan 11, 2016.
It had the axe, folding saw, folding Alpha Hunter, and a sharpener. All in a nylon kit.
From 2004, it must be really rare as I've never seen one in the wild.
Apology to oregon oregon for clipping his 2016 image.

Now, thats a kitchen knife set. Can we please go back to the days where steak knives weren't serrated? There should be a Federal mandate banning serrated steak knives.

I agree. When I got married we had the normal registry at a home store. The only thing I put on the list was a set of kitchen knives AND 10 matching pairing knives to use for steak knives.

If I needed a set of Buck steak knives I’d definitely get 107’s. They should bring 107’s back.IMG_4833.jpeg
