Dan - this is Mrs Pit.

As I am the Daughter of a fine fly fisherman - how about....

The Kod Father!

Dan that is one of the coolest fillet knives I've seen.

My choice is the Gannet because of how they fish.

Thanks,
Marcelo

Here's some pics of one of my deployments to Diego Garcia.
My biggest bonefish...there may have been a little photoshop involved:

This was the first time I ever fly fished salt water and it was awesome!!!!
I caught tons of bones on Christmas Island shrimp patterns and caught a good many Permits and such in Streamers....thats why I suggested it!

Joel beat me to it, but I'd go with the Koster Cutthroat. Or Kutthroat if you really want the K in there.

The name jumped out when I looked at the knife - it looks mostly like a bird-n-trout pattern. But the top grind makes it look like it came out of a gambler's boot. So Cut throat in two senses of meaning.

Is this the first in an emerging category of Bush-n-Bait knives?

fishmaster, fishcraft, marlin spike. I like many of the names others have posted as well. I will be purchasing one of those for sure. Please put me on the list now. Your designs are well thought out and executed every time it seems.

Ok guys....here's what I've go so far.

These are the ones on the top of the list for me:

Kuda
K-Bone
Mako
Pike
ORK - Ozark River Knife
K-Barb
Striker
BoneFisher

Other names I really like but not for this knife:

KaOZ
Nymph
Mariner
K-GAR

"Most Hilarious" Award so far goes to:

Chum

and

Flounder

:D :p

Great fish-based names....but not sure I could hang my hat on 'em...seem kinda ominous...

Keep 'em coming!!!

Dan

should also mention, I really like the idea behind the Cutthroat

Just can't see a good solution there yet.

The Poachers Pal !

SticKle Back !

kiddle # stake-fence set in stream for catching fish

sKud( scud).....Scuds are not insects but small crustaceans, sometimes called freshwater shrimp, and in some streams they are a primary food source for trout.

Anglers curse....The smallest of British upwinged flies, the Caënis flies are often referred to as the angler's curse. Caënis nymphs crawl among the silt and detritus on the river or lake bed, and they are often covered it bits of debris that act as camouflage.

Kosters Reel Knife !

The Argonaut !...Their name comes from their ship, the Argo, which was named after its builder, Argus. "Argonauts", therefore, literally means "Argo sailors".

The Keel Deal !

The Snapper.

On land or in water, it's got a mean disposition and a nasty bite. And since it's so versatile, you can nickname it the "Ograbme". :)
