Many people here are probably familiar with the legendary Chinese/Taiwanese folding knife design, which inspired Spyderco's Lum Chinese folder. Now, if you know the history behind Shilin Cutter, you should know that the two families that made the Shilin Cuter traditionally (Kuo and Chiu) stopped making them due to various reasons. However, Master Kuo, the 5th generation of the Kuo family, is designing a modern version that's going into production soon. Here are some pictures I found of it.

I'd love it if it had scale or some other way to grip it better.
Any info on size and if it will be sold in the US?

This is the images of the early prototype. No specs have been posted yet. Same goes for whether it will be released internationally or limited to Taiwan.

I too would very much like to know. By the way Oregon, I have always been envious of that Kuo Shilin Cutter! She's a beauty!
