So all the sitting around waiting on contractors and adjusters has left me with plenty of time to work on the new shop. With the addition of a new (to me) truck for that last lumber run, I should be picture ready in no time. Thanks for your support! New batch coming soon.....

so I now have a 2.75 gallon quinch tank that will heat the oil to hot to the touch in less then 2 min. Total coast $12. I will post pictures and step by step to night

I did not have a 1-1/8" drill bit so I used the finder wash as a template and used a jig saw to cut the hole (cleaned it up with a die grinder but a file will work) there was a seam on the latch side of the can so I had to do this on the hinge side. I makes it a little backward but I wanted the best possible seal.

Put the heat through the hole then put on "O" ring finder washer and conduit nut. Be careful not to damage heater by over tightening
