New Smith & Wesson Model 60

Sounds cool, sounds like the bonuses of the .357 Sig. Hopefully it won't share the same fate. It's hard for any of the newcomers, because you just can't bring down the price on them low enough to make them shootable.

PS - This thread needs pics.

60 is a good gun you will like it. I've got a 3" 586 that is the most accurate gun I have.

Let's hope that .327 Magnum does better than the shorter .32 H&R magnum of years past.....

It SOUNDS like it'll be an interesting cartridge....

good thread gentlemen. thanks for the posts. i am trying to find the cable for my cannon power shot so i can get some photos on here of my new M60-14.

my mod 60 has been with me many a year /mile i guess the only drawback is that it is so easy to carry that i offen forget its there. i had mine worked over by a master here in switzerland partrage blued front sight and trigger job. when my eyes were younger i could conect with ballons at better that 100 yards 3 out of 5. very fine revolver. look at mitch rosens workman for leather it works with cutoffs and a tee shirt. enjoy

What are MIM'd parts??
Metal injection molded....basically high tech cast. Apparently a lot of manufacturers use them now. A lot cheaper than a forged and machined part. Colt still does a good job of using very little mim'd parts. I was kinda shocked find out they used any. Makes me appreciate my 629-4 and old Series 70 colts. Especially my Combat Commander.

Just looked at the Ruger site for info on the SP101 in .327, it's as big as a 1911 at 8" O.A.L. Not exactly a pocket pistol. I do like the concept of a .32 caliber revolver, but this needs a 2" bbl.
