There is master list of sheath makers above. This forum, as I understand it, is to talk about sheaths - not simply seek out sheath makers.

I think a little research in the links above, as opposed to what amounts to a WTB post will net more results.

Not trying to be mean or an ass - just my two pennies on these types of posts.

This forum, for lack of a better word, is an enigma. We're not only here for sheath discussion, we're also here to promote our goods and to be a place for potential customers to go and see a wide range of work. We're also here to answer questions on our specialties, and to let customers know if we may have a particular knife in the shop so they don't have to send theirs in for fitting.

Knife lists from us aren't readily apparent most of the time so its always good to post up a "Does anybody have one of these in their shop?"

But

And theirs always a but. ;)

We don't do direct sales here
and
We don't discuss pricing here

the other two sheath forums I moderate have the same two basic rules and it seems to work well.

Tal, I just did a search on this Sheaths and Such forum for Cold Steel Bravehart....and this is the only thread that appeared. Now what??

Would it make you feel better if he was looking for a bushcraft pouch sheath specialist?

Eric's work is top notch.
I have 3 of his sheaths myself.

We get these posts here all the time, and honestly I believe it's the best place for 'em as they're going to pop up, and there's really no where else for them to go that would get the attention they need. Now the OP could go down the list and email every single Kydex maker on there, but it wastes his time and theirs, when he could get the info he needed from a single post here. A specific "Need a sheath for ..." subforum would be ideal, but as of now, we don't have one and I doubt it's up there on Kevin's to do list. Maybe we should ask.

As usual, Dwayne articulates it better than I can. It's a mishmash of everything sheathy, and that's OK.

No need for arguing. There's nothing in the world that everyone can agree on. We just have to go with our own opinions and not take opposing ones personal.

Trying to be helpful. Not overly surprised you used it as an excuse to make another useless argumentative post though. I shouldn't have expected anything more I suppose.
