Rick and Thomas are smart. Rick already stated he is gonna make different colored scales. I believe without a shadow of a doubt you will be able to get many colors of scales for this knife.

Gotcha. Put ugly scale on and then offer nice ones for aftermarket. They're smart alright! :D

Awesome looking knife!!!

The blade shape and handle shape look very similar to the 0551.

Very excited to see these for sale, hopefully soon. :D

Sorry for the low quality pics, I need a new camera.

Nice brother! :D how you liking the Zermeno?

Much better than I ever expected! I reluctantly unloaded a favorite Strider SNG CC to get my hands on it, and it's one of the best knife moves I've ever made! Fits my hand like a glove in any grip. It's got all the whizbang of a Strider plus the handy dandy flipper.

Let's see if this ZT can knock it out of my pocket!

With all the commotion about the brown scale, I thought I'd weigh in with my opinion.
I like the brown scale. There's not a lot of dark earth knives out there. There are many more tan knives.

ZT is brilliantly targeting a niche market of people that want brown knives, but aren't impressed with tan.

In fact ZT seems to have considered a number of niche markets for this knife:

Those who want a heavy duty ZT textured Ti framelock with manual action (no assist).

Those who would like an XM, but don't want to pay the high cost.

Those who want a generally awesome knife.

Those who wish to impress the ladys.

Those who need to fight off the ladys.;)

Those without thumbs.

Those who prefer a ragged pocket edge.

Those who are lesser endowed, wishing to compensate, but cannot afford huge lifted trucks.

Those that want the perfect throwing knife.

Oh, and those who need to cut Sh!t.... in style....

You can do that with a plastic butter knife from any fast food joint. :barf:
