I am new to this forum & to knives....Looking to get my 1st knife. Please give your recommendations to a newbie. Many thanks.

You need to be a little more specific.

What do you intend to use it for?

What kind of price range do you have?

Where are you located? (some knives are illegal in some areas)

Are there any specific features that you feel strongly about? (some people insist of carrying a folding knife, others insist on stainless steel, etc.)

These things need to be considered when you are buying a knife.
